Recipe: Sesame Garlic Noodles
When you are craving Pad Thai but want a healthier version, this is my go to recipe. Garlic sesame noodles are a delicious blend of garlic, nutty sesame, and savory sauces coating perfectly cooked noodles. With its simple preparation and delightful taste, garlic sesame noodles are a versatile crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
- Noodles/pasts of your choice (spaghetti / rice noodles)
- ¼ cup Coconut aminos
- 2 big tbsp tahini
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 3 tbsp bone broth
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes to taste
- Top with Sesame seeds & Green onion
Instructions:
- Boil water, and put noodles in
- Mix in a bowl all ingredients above (coconut aminos, tahini, raw honey, sriracha, rice wine vinegar, bone broth, sesame oil, seasoning)
- Put oil in a pan and add in minced garlic when hot, cook until brown and fragrant
- Add the sauce to the pan until it starts to thicken
- Once the pasta is cooked, add it into the pan and drench in the sauce
- Top with red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and green oil
You can add veggies (onion, carrot, broccoli, red pepper) in when cooking garlic before you add the sauce in. You can also top with a protein (salmon, shrimp, chicken)
